Course Aims

This updated two-part course will refresh your knowledge and understanding of phonics, provide an overview of Letters and Sounds and show how to use the teaching sequence to structure learning and teaching together with practical strategies and activities to support and encourage learning in the classroom.

Who Should Attend?

This course covers Key Stages 1 and 2. It will be useful to teaching assistants, newly qualified teachers, and teachers who want to refresh their approach to the teaching of phonics.
