Course Aims

An updated version of the popular Practical Spelling Support, this course considers the implications of the demands of the national curriculum on the learning and teaching of spelling and the challenges that arise post-COVID. It provides a range of practical activities and games to reinforce learning.

Part 2 will be on Tuesday 8 February at 1.45pm

Part 3 will be on Tuesday 15 February at 1.45pm

Free follow-up session on Tuesday 8 March at 1.45pm

Who Should Attend?

This course covers Key Stages 1 and 2. Teaching assistants and newly qualified teachers are invited to attend, as well as any teachers who would like to refresh their approach to teaching spelling.
